The TOEFL iBT (Internet-Based Test) is a globally recognized exam assessing your academic English skills in Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing. It’s accepted by thousands of universities and institutions worldwide.

As of 2025, the TOEFL iBT is shorter and more focused, with a total score out of 120. Starting Jan 21, 2026, it’s getting updates to better align with modern academic needs.

The TOEFL iBT exam is offered frequently throughout the year, both at authorized test centers and at home (TOEFL iBT Home Edition). Candidates should register early to secure their preferred date and location.
